About This Role

Job Description

Lead the Total Quality Management function to ensure that products and services meet guest requirements, regulatory standards, and organizational objectives.

Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of quality control, quality assurance, and quality management systems.

Quality Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement the overall quality strategy by aligning it with organizational goals to ensure that all products and services meet the highest quality standards.
  • Establish quality policies and objectives by collaborating with senior management to guide quality assurance and control efforts.
  • Accountable for utilizing risk assessments to proactively identify quality risks, develop mitigation strategies, drive process improvements, and ensure effective quality assurance and control.
  • Leadership and Management:
  • Lead the Quality Control Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, and QMS Manager by providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure effective management of their respective areas.
  • Foster a culture of quality excellence by promoting continuous improvement, innovation, and adherence to best practices across the department.

Quality Control and Assurance

  • Oversee the quality control function to ensure that all products meet quality standards by implementing strategic checkpoints, sampling processes, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Oversee all activities that ensure PL products or services meet quality standards. This includes inspections, testing, and audits throughout the product life cycle with the aim to eliminate defects at early stages, implementing preventive measures, and analyzing data to identify trends and take proactive action.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Oversee the overall SC SOPs by ensuring documentations, and its properly distributed, communicated, and that compliance is audited regularly.
  • Be the main point of contact for the certification bodies and responsible for overseeing the entire Quality Management system.
  • Work with the QMS Manager to evaluate the effectiveness of current SOPs and recommend improvements to align with best practices.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Developing and implementing strategic initiatives to mitigate compliance risks by integrating these requirements into quality management systems and leading the team in conducting rigorous audits and assessments.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and industry organizations to ensure ongoing compliance and incorporate regulatory changes into quality practices.

Continuous Improvement

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and applying quality management methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean.
  • Collaborate with the SC Excellence R&D team to drive innovation and improve quality processes and standards.
  • Training and Development

  • Develop and deliver training programs on quality management systems and best practices by mentoring and coaching team members to build quality management capabilities within the organization.
  • Lead cross functional workshops and organize seminars on new quality methodologies and regulatory updates to enhance the skillsets of the Safety & Quality team.
  • Employee duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

  • Indoors : 60%
  • Outdoors : 40%
  • Working Days : 5 Working Days
  • Days off : 2 Days Off
  • Working Hours : 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) preferred

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in quality management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading quality improvement initiatives and managing quality control and assurance functions

Technical & Computer Skills

  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
  • Proficiency in Statistical Process Control
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and audit processes.

Languages

  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in Arabic is a plus

Certificates

  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQM) preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
