Job Details Job ID: 5702256 Application Deadline: Posted until filled Posted: May 8, 2026 Starting Date: Aug 3, 2026 Locations Knollwood Elementary School - Salisbury, North Carolina Job Description Purpose: To supplement reading and/or math instruction to academically at-risk students in grades K-8 Qualifications: Ability to relate to children with special needs; ability to provide instructional activities in collaboration with teacher Some college training preferable. Minimum education requirements are:

• 48 semester hours which include core courses with an overall 2.5 or higher GPA from an accredited institution; OR
• Associate Degree or higher with an overall 2.5 or higher GPA from an accredited institution; OR
• WorkKeys testing in Math - (min score 4); Reading - (min score 4); and Writing - (min score 3). Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide supplemental instruction to academically at-risk students in grades K-8 to provide reinforcement of readingand/or math skills.
• Collaborate with classroom teacher to prepare lessons, materials, and activities that supplements classroom reading and/or math instruction for academically at-risk students.
• Adhere to the federal guidelines regarding non-instructional assignments/duties.
• Attend Title I staff meetings and professional development.
