Job Title: Air Ticketing Executive / Officer

Job Summary:
The Air Ticketing Executive is responsible for handling airline reservations, ticket issuance, rebooking, and customer support. The role requires strong knowledge of GDS systems, airline policies, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle flight reservations, bookings, cancellations, and reissuance of tickets
• Issue domestic and international air tickets using GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, etc.)
• Provide customers with accurate fare details, travel information, and itinerary options
• Assist clients with visa-related travel requirements and documentation (if applicable)
• Manage refunds, rebooking, and ticket amendments as per airline policies
• Coordinate with airlines for special requests (meals, wheelchair, seat selection, etc.)
• Ensure all bookings are processed accurately and within deadlines
• Maintain records of transactions and prepare daily sales reports
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally

Requirements:

• Proven experience in air ticketing or travel agency operations
• Knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus/Galileo/Sabre) is required
• Good understanding of airline rules, fare structures, and ticketing procedures
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism or related field
• IATA certification is an advantage
• Experience in UAE travel industry is preferred
