Overview
We are seeking 3experienced Thermal Insulator Technicians to join our team for industrial projects.
The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining thermal insulation systems on piping, vessels, tanks, boilers, ducts, and other industrial equipment to ensure energy efficiency, personnel protection, and compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Install thermal insulation materials on piping, ducts, vessels, tanks, boilers, and industrial equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit insulation materials such as mineral wool, fiberglass, calcium silicate, and ceramic fiber.
- Install aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized steel cladding/jacketing to protect insulation systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, isometric drawings, and insulation specifications.
- Perform surface preparation before insulation installation.
- Repair or replace damaged insulation and cladding as required.
- Ensure insulation work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and insulation fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all HSE procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete work within project schedules.
Skills
Proven experience in thermal insulation installation for piping, vessels, tanks, ducts, boilers, and industrial equipment.
Skilled in installing and fabricating aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized steel cladding/jacketing.
Knowledge of insulation materials such as fiberglass, mineral wool, calcium silicate, ceramic fiber, and polyurethane foam.
Ability to read and interpret insulation drawings, isometric drawings, and technical specifications.
Proficient in measuring, cutting, shaping, and fitting insulation materials accurately.
Experience using insulation hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication equipment.
Knowledge of insulation quality standards, material handling, and installation best practices.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements in industrial work environments.
