Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and support prescribed exercises and rehabilitation under licensed physiotherapists' supervision.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, equipment, and supplies; assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and transportation.
• Monitor comfort and report concerns; maintain treatment records and documentation.
• Follow hospital, infection control, and patient safety policies; contribute to a positive patient experience.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy, Physical Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation, or a related healthcare field.
• Relevant experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant, Rehabilitation Assistant, or similar healthcare support role is required.
• Understanding of rehabilitation practices, communication, teamwork, physical ability to assist with mobility, and basic computer and documentation skills are required.
• No DOH, MOH, or DHA license is required for this position.

Preferred qualifications

• Hospital, rehabilitation center, or outpatient physiotherapy clinic experience is preferred.
• First Aid and BLS certification are advantageous; multilingual communication skills are a plus.
