Currently, we are hiring a
Perception Test Technician
to support our automotive client in Co.
Galway
As a Perception Test Technician, you will be required to support at all stages of Perception Testing in live testing and replay testing.
This includes input and execution support responsibilities for data reprocessing through the various In-Loop Perception Test reprocessing benches, communicating status and results to the wider Perception Test team and associated stakeholders.
The Perception Test Technician will be expected to support in Perception Performance Analysis, False Event Identification and reprocessing bench stability as well as supporting perception testing in the test vehicle fleet
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supporting and executing data oriented Software Testing activities
- Maintaining data input to data reprocessing pipelines
- Support and executing these data reprocessing pipelines from initiating test execution to creating KPI reports
- Supporting in vehicle test executions in driving the test fleet vehicles to logging data in Open & Closed loop vehicle testing
- Flashing Electronic Control Unit (ECU’s) for appropriate SW to be utilised in vehicle tests and through In-Loop reprocessing tests
- Communicating any and all performance failures through ticket management and through more informal communication means with associated team members and teams
Authority
- You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
- Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.
Requirements
- 2+ years relevant experience in Automotive systems / ADAS Validation or another highly regulated industry
- Mindset of Continuous Improvement
- High level of innovation and creativity
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership across multiple projects
- Self-starter, motivated individual who can work fully autonomously
- Driver’s License with two years’ experience with a full license
