Senior Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and other relevant tools.
• Implement test-driven development practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement test strategies for UI and API testing.
• Utilize JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber for effective test case management and execution.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and Insomnia.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage version control using GIT and GitHub, ensuring code quality and collaboration.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the testing process and enhance deployment efficiency.
• Utilize the Page Object Model design pattern to create maintainable and reusable test scripts.
• Review and analyze test results, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong expertise in Automation Testing.
• Proficient in Selenium WebDriver and Playwright.
• Experience with JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber frameworks.
• Solid understanding of TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
• Extensive knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Core Java programming skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and TFS.
• Version control experience with GIT and GitHub.
• API testing experience using Postman and Insomnia.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and implementation.
• Knowledge of HTML and XML.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
• Experience in mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
