Test Engineer responsibilities
- Evaluate functionality, performance, and reliability of products, systems, and technical components.
- Develop test plans and cases, conduct technical assessments, analyze results, and document findings.
- Collaborate to identify defects, investigate issues, and verify products against specifications.
- Configure testing equipment, conduct functional and performance tests, maintain documentation, and support validation.
- Recommend corrective actions and improve testing procedures and quality control.
Civil Engineer responsibilities
- Support planning, design, development, and evaluation of infrastructure and construction projects.
- Review drawings, conduct design calculations, evaluate materials, and assess project specifications.
- Coordinate with project professionals to address technical challenges and support delivery.
- Prepare reports, monitor progress, coordinate inspections, and review construction documentation.
- Identify risks, recommend design improvements, and support compliance with codes, safety requirements, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, specifications, testing procedures, and quality assurance.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, engineering documentation, test plans, and performance data.
- Understanding of safety requirements, quality control, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Microsoft Office proficiency for reporting, documentation, and data analysis.
Role-specific and advantageous skills
- Test Engineer role: familiarity with testing equipment, defect analysis, validation, and troubleshooting is advantageous.
- Civil Engineer role: knowledge of construction materials, structural principles, infrastructure systems, and design is beneficial.
- CAD software, simulation tools, testing instruments, or data analysis applications are advantageous.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail and collaborative approach.
