VAM SYSTEMS is seeking a Test Analyst / QA Engineer for its UAE operations.
The role focuses on software testing and quality assurance in banking or financial services.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 5 years of software testing or quality assurance experience.
- Banking or financial services experience is mandatory.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field is specified.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders is required.
- ISTQB certification is preferred.
- Wealth Management, Treasury, or Cards experience is highly preferred.
Domain knowledge and testing skills
- Strong understanding of Wealth Management, Treasury, and/or Cards business processes.
- Good understanding of banking operations and system integrations.
- Experience in functional testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Ability to review requirements and identify test scenarios.
- Experience with defect management and test management tools.
- Good understanding of application architecture and system interfaces; ability to understand data flows and integrations between systems.
- API testing and database validation exposure is advantageous.
Stakeholder coordination and UAT
- Engage effectively with business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Facilitate requirement walkthroughs and support UAT activities.
Personal attributes
- Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Quick learner with good aptitude, ownership mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
