Test Analyst - Delta Point (Contingent Position)

Role overview

Testing responsibilities

• Develop and execute test procedures, cases, scenarios, and supporting documentation.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user-focused testing as applicable.
• Document test results, defects, discrepancies, and system performance; conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting.
• Support Agile testing throughout the software development lifecycle and work with teams to investigate and resolve defects.
• Support compliance with DoD and Air Force testing policies, processes, standards, and documentation requirements.
• Assist with testing deployment and implementation of MRO/MRO-S production solutions.
• Maintain accurate test records and communicate status, risks, issues, and results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external program organizations and improve standardized testing processes, tools, and practices.

Qualifications

• Experience performing software or IT system testing and knowledge of testing methodologies, procedures, standards, and tools.
• Experience developing test procedures and documenting results; familiarity with Agile software development and testing practices.
• At least 3 years of Air Force and DoD IT systems testing experience.
• Experience in Air Force IT systems test and evaluation, including Agile testing, documentation, test design, methods, standards, tools, and applicable policies and processes.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Air Force or DoD IT system test and evaluation experience is listed as preferred in the qualifications section.

Work environment and physical demands

• The described work environment typically has moderate noise; the role involves operating a computer and remaining seated or stationary for more than half the time.
• Duties regularly involve sitting, using hands, talking, and hearing; occasionally involve standing, walking, reaching, and lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.
