Territory Sales Manager

Qualifications

• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business / Marketing or related business degree preferred
• Ability to develop strong relationships and work cross functionally
• Proficient in Salesforce CRM
• Proficient in Microsoft products including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience as a Territory Manager or similar role in the Industrial & Commercial and Dealer environments
• Outdoor power equipment and power tools experience a plus
• Competencies:
• Self-starter motivated by revenue and customer growth
• Ability to work independently, virtually and across the organization
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Superb follow-through, problem-solving and communications skills
• Strong negotiation and financial aptitude
• Ability to think strategically while driving tactical execution
• Ability to work under pressure– recognize urgency, reset priorities, complete projects on time and continue to communicate effectively
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Supervisory Responsibility:
• This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
• Travel:
• Role will require 80% travel within the territory; overnight stay within territory, drive a company vehicle and at times, pull a trailer. A valid Passport is required with occasional travel to United States and possibly China.
• Work Environment:
• Canadian office is in Mississauga, Ontario. Periodic attendance will be required. Expected to work in diverse office and professional environments, client locations and trade shows.
