Brandt is hiring a Territory Manager – Construction and Forestry for its Sydney location.
The role grows customer relationships and sales and rental revenue for new and used construction and forestry equipment in an assigned area.
The manager is expected to understand users and purchasing and rental activity in the territory and report activity to the company.
What you'll do
- Create accounts and execute territory strategies to grow revenue and market share.
- Build customer relationships, achieve sales targets, and develop a pipeline of current and future opportunities.
- Promote and sell new and used whole goods, compact construction equipment, rentals, and rental purchases.
- Prospect for new customers and keep current on equipment products and competing models.
- Represent Brandt at industry events as required.
- Record sales activity, customer interactions, and quotations; submit weekly lost-sales reports.
- Work with Parts, Service, and Finance to deliver integrated customer solutions.
What we're looking for
- 3–5 years of sales experience in construction, agriculture, or heavy equipment.
- Sales experience and/or comprehensive knowledge of heavy and compact equipment, including skid steers, track loaders, mini excavators, and wheel loaders.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, relationship-building, prospecting, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Available to travel as needed; a recent driver's abstract and valid passport are required.
- English and French bilingual ability is an asset.
