Role Overview
Terracon is offering exciting internship and co-op opportunities for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in consulting engineering.
Whether you're passionate about geotechnical investigations, environmental solutions, construction materials testing, or facilities engineering, this program is designed to help you explore your interests and grow professionally.
Opportunities are available all across the US.
• The internship program runs from May – August 2027
• Co-ops run from May – December 2027
• Opportunity to work throughout the school year as well
Eligible Majors: Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, Geological, or Construction Engineering; Biology; Geology; or other related technical or business fields.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, technical, or business related fields
- Interest in consulting and fieldwork
- Demonstrated curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with Terracon’s values
- A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required
Responsibilities
- What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments
- Support active project work and observe how technical decisions translate to client and community outcomes
- Build core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development
- Receive mentorship from professionals committed to helping you grow
- Participate in a nationwide internship cohort program and share your experience with executive leadership
