Terminal Technician

Description UAE – REQUIRED FOR REPUTED COMPANY (EMARAT PETROLEUM PROJECT) TECHNICIAN (TERMINALS) – Valid UAE License - 10 NOS Qualification & Experience

• Diploma / Trade Certificate (2–3 years) in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ hands-on experience in terminal operations, petroleum storage facilities, or Oil & Gas distribution.
• Knowledge of pumps, pipelines, loading/unloading arms, metering & calibration systems, firefighting equipment, and tank farm operations.
• Familiarity with SCADA/DCS/PLC monitoring systems used in terminals.
• Understanding of PTW systems, HSE standards, and emergency response in terminal environments.
• Valid UAE Driving License desirable.
• Good communication skills in English; computer literacy preferred.

Job Description

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of terminal equipment (pumps, meters, pipelines, loading/unloading arms, firefighting systems).
• Support day-to-day terminal fuel operations, ensuring equipment availability and reliability.
• Assist in tank farm operations including routine inspection, maintenance, and calibration of meters and gauging systems.
• Troubleshoot faults and restore systems quickly to minimize operational downtime.
• Maintain records of maintenance, calibration, and operational activities.
• Support SCADA/PLC-controlled systems by assisting engineers and contractors during testing and upgrades.
• Enforce compliance with Emarat’s HSEQ procedures, permit-to-work, and safe working practices.
• Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs and ensure quality and safety of works.
• Candidates should have experience in FUEL / LPG / NATURAL GAS Operation & Maintenance.
