Terminal Technician
Description UAE – REQUIRED FOR REPUTED COMPANY (EMARAT PETROLEUM PROJECT) TECHNICIAN (TERMINALS) – Valid UAE License - 10 NOS Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / Trade Certificate (2–3 years) in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ hands-on experience in terminal operations, petroleum storage facilities, or Oil & Gas distribution.
- Knowledge of pumps, pipelines, loading/unloading arms, metering & calibration systems, firefighting equipment, and tank farm operations.
- Familiarity with SCADA/DCS/PLC monitoring systems used in terminals.
- Understanding of PTW systems, HSE standards, and emergency response in terminal environments.
- Valid UAE Driving License desirable.
- Good communication skills in English; computer literacy preferred.
Job Description
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of terminal equipment (pumps, meters, pipelines, loading/unloading arms, firefighting systems).
- Support day-to-day terminal fuel operations, ensuring equipment availability and reliability.
- Assist in tank farm operations including routine inspection, maintenance, and calibration of meters and gauging systems.
- Troubleshoot faults and restore systems quickly to minimize operational downtime.
- Maintain records of maintenance, calibration, and operational activities.
- Support SCADA/PLC-controlled systems by assisting engineers and contractors during testing and upgrades.
- Enforce compliance with Emarat’s HSEQ procedures, permit-to-work, and safe working practices.
- Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs and ensure quality and safety of works.
- Candidates should have experience in FUEL / LPG / NATURAL GAS Operation & Maintenance.
