- Oversee all Crossdock terminal operations, including inbound and outbound freight flow, staffing, and scheduling.
- Manage and lead a team of dockworkers, drivers, and administrative staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement processes to improve productivity and minimize downtime.
- Monitor freight integrity, damage control, and proper documentation.
- Coordinate with dispatch and transportation teams to meet delivery timelines.
- Conduct regular facility audits and safety meetings.
- Hire, train, and evaluate terminal staff including 1099 contractors and W2 employees
- This is a night time shift starting at 10pm Monday - Friday
- Minimum 5 years of experience in terminal or dock operations management.
- Proven leadership skills in a high-volume freight handling environment.
- Strong knowledge of crossdock operations, LTL shipping, and freight flow processes.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and OSHA compliance.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be able to utilize a forklift
- Competitive salary based on experience. Starting salary will be 70-75k/year
