About Us

Enterprise Data Modelling (FSLDM / FSAS)

• Act as the

Data Modelling Subject Matter Expert (SME)

• FSLDM (Financial Services Logical Data Model)

• FSAS aggregation and reporting standards
• Validate, enhance, and govern logical and physical data models.
• Ensure completeness, correctness, and consistency of:
• Entities
• Attributes
• Hierarchies
• Aggregations
• Resolve data model and semantic inconsistencies impacting reporting and reconciliation.

Teradata Physical Data Architecture

• Design and optimize
• physical data models in Teradata Vantage
• , including:
• Table structures
• Primary and secondary index strategies
• Join indexes
• Partitioning (PPI and columnar where applicable)
• Ensure physical models support:
• High‑volume data ingestion
• Complex analytics
• Business‑critical and regulatory reporting

Performance Optimization & Workload Management

• Lead
• query tuning and optimization
• for Teradata workloads.
• Design and manage
• Teradata workload management (TASM / workload rules)
• to ensure SLA compliance.
• Identify and remediate performance bottlenecks caused by:
• Inefficient SQL
• Sub‑optimal data models
• Poor indexing or partitioning strategies

EDW Modernization & Lakehouse Offload

• Define and implement
• EDW offload strategies
• from Teradata to the Data Lakehouse, including:
• Historical data offloading
• High‑volume and ad‑hoc analytical workloads
• Ensure data consistency, reconciliation, and reporting accuracy across:
• Teradata EDW

• Data Lakehouse (Cloudera)

• Reporting platforms
• Support coexistence and transition strategies toward legacy EDW decommissioning.

Phase 1 Remediation & Phase 2 Delivery

• Assess Phase 1 Teradata data models, aggregations, and implementations.
• Identify defects, gaps, and misalignments with FSLDM/FSAS.
• Define remediation strategies, rebuild plans, and validation approaches.
• Support reconciliation between:
• Source systems

• Legacy DWH / EDM

• Data Lakehouse layers

Reporting & Business Enablement

• Support reporting repointing initiatives by:
• Validating Gold layer alignment with Teradata outputs
• Ensuring aggregation accuracy and business rule consistency
• Collaborate with business, EDM, and reporting teams to enable:
• Report reconciliation
• Business sign‑off

Governance & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Participate in architecture and data governance forums.
• Clearly articulate model changes, impacts, and justifications.
• Work closely with:
• Enterprise/Data Architects
• Data Engineers
• Testing and Reporting teams
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to Teradata developers and modelers.
