Temporary Customer Service Agent

Ivy City is looking for a Temporary Customer Service Associate to join our team through the end of the year as a remote agent (Local to UT) ! We’re looking for someone who loves helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every customer interaction.

As a member of our Customer Service team, you’ll be one of the friendly faces behind the Ivy City experience. You’ll help customers with everything from finding the perfect dress and answering product questions to navigating orders, returns, shipping, and more. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a quick learner, and genuinely enjoys making people feel taken care of.

Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries through email, chat, and SMS in a friendly, helpful, and timely manner

Assist customers with orders, returns, exchanges, shipping questions, product information, and general concerns

Help customers find the right products, sizes, and styles based on their needs

Resolve customer issues with empathy, attention to detail, and good judgment

Follow Ivy City policies and procedures while looking for opportunities to create a great customer experience

Work collaboratively with the Customer Service team and other departments

Approach every task and challenge with a proactive, can-do attitude

Qualifications:

Previous customer service experience preferred

Strong written communication skills and attention to detail

Available to work 10–20 hours per week

Fast-learning, hardworking, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use good judgment

Positive, team-first attitude

A genuine desire to help people and create a positive customer experience

Experience with Shopify and Gorgias is a plus, but not required

Reliable high-speed internet connection and reliable computer suitable for working remotely

A quiet, dedicated workspace where you can work without frequent interruptions
