Tempo Supervisor (Freelance)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule a food and beverage team of 20–35, ensuring shift coverage and efficiency during rushes.
• Oversee food preparation, bar stocks, concession operations, and service quality under standardized recipes and guidelines.
• Maintain food safety, kitchen hygiene, and equipment maintenance standards.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, conduct stock counts, and report results to management.
• Handle menu and allergy inquiries, resolve complaints, and support guest satisfaction.
• Process point-of-sale payments and assist with cash register operations.
• Delegate cleaning, receiving, storage, and food issuance tasks.
• Support opening, closing, and administrative work across arena locations.

Qualifications and experience

• Degree or certification in hospitality, management, or another related field.
• At least two years’ experience in a similar role.
• Previous UAE experience; event-industry experience is preferred.
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.

Skills and personal qualities

• Able to work unsupervised and with a multicultural team; IT literate, including the full Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong presentation, communication, listening, stakeholder-management, and creative-thinking skills.
• Friendly and team-oriented, receptive to direction, and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising safety.
• Professional personal presentation and grooming are expected.
