Temenos T24 Techno Functional Consultant

Employment Type: 6-month contract, can be extended

We are looking for an experienced Temenos T24 Techno-Functional Consultant to lead core banking transformation and migration programs for a leading financial institution in Qatar.

The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology by driving end-to-end migration from legacy core platforms to Temenos T24 (Transact) and ensuring seamless implementation aligned with business goals.

Lead end-to-end migration from legacy core banking systems to Temenos T24.

Define and execute migration strategy, including data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation.

Plan and execute cutover strategies ensuring minimal downtime and full audit traceability.

Conduct impact analysis across modules—Retail, Corporate, Treasury, and Payments.

Ensure complete data integrity and regulatory compliance during migration.

Act as a liaison between business teams and technical developers.

Gather and document Business Requirements (BRD), Functional Requirements (FRD), and Technical Design Specifications.

Configure and support T24 modules: Accounts, Deposits, Lending, Payments, and Customer Management/KYC.

Work within TAFJ/TAFC environments for parameterization, version development, and local customization.

Serve as the primary contact for client-side business and IT teams.

Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, and requirement validation sessions.

Provide advisory support on Temenos best practices and Temenos upgrade paths.

Manage expectations and communication across CXOs, business teams, and IT stakeholders.

Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless alignment between T24 and third-party systems (CRM, Treasury, Channels, etc.).

Work on API and middleware interfaces to support end-to-end process automation.

Define and validate interface design and testing strategies.

Design and manage SIT and UAT plans.

Prepare and validate test cases and scripts.

Support UAT sessions, resolve issues, and ensure smooth go-live execution.

Drive cutover and post-go-live hypercare activities to ensure operational stability.

Ensure all solutions comply with GCC/Qatar banking regulations and internal audit standards.

Prepare comprehensive documentation including migration plans, data reconciliation reports, and solution design documents.

8–10 years of experience in Temenos T24 / Transact implementation or migration projects.

Proven expertise in core banking migration (legacy to Temenos).

Hands-on experience with data migration, ETL tools, and reconciliation processes.

Strong understanding of banking operations—retail, corporate, deposits, lending, and payments.

Technical familiarity with TAFJ/TAFC architecture, jBASE, Java, APIs, and integration frameworks.

Strong stakeholder management and business communication skills.

Knowledge of GCC/Qatar banking regulatory standards preferred.

Work on a large-scale core banking transformation for a leading financial institution in Qatar.

Collaborate with global Temenos experts and banking technology professionals.
