• Specific expectation –
• We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Temenos Developer to be an integral part of our Core Banking team.
• He should demonstrate a growth-oriented mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot challenges effectively, generate innovative ideas, and bring a strong can-do attitude and positive energy to the team & Bank.
• Key Technical expertise – Lending (LD), Accounts, Payments, AA Modules, TAFJ, IRIS, Complex Integration development via OFS, Integration Framework to third party Middleware, Data Streaming concepts. Should have worked in AIX / Linux (OpenShift Cloud flatform), Jboss Stack in TAFC / TAFJ using extensive TOCFEE / IRIS components.
• Strong hands-on experience in Temenos development experience in a banking environment, with proven ability to write and optimize complex code.
• Passion for Temenos products and a strong drive to continuously improve and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Proactive ownership of development tasks, engaging actively with Business Users, Business Analysts, and internal IT teams to ensure clarity of requirements and timely delivery.
• Self-motivation and result orientation, with the ability to work independently while aligning with the team’s objectives.
• Commitment and discipline to deliver with excellence, ensuring that all developments are carried out with precision, passion, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Should be hands on technical expert in Development under the following area.
• Writing Complex Programmes for the Service Jobs using Multi-threading, COB Jobs, Interface development using OFS. Should have very good knowledge to design Version screens, enquiries, Advices and writing routines.
• Should have good technical knowledge in IRIS framework, Web Services, REST messages, Integration Framework. Should have knowledge on Event Streaming, ETL mapping.
• Good knowledge of AA Framework, Set-up of products in AA Accounts, Deposits and Loans. Understanding of various AA activities, key parameters in AA & ability to do a performance finetuning, Archival of AA Tables.
• Working knowledge of TAFJ framework, TOCFEE, Browser configurations, MQ and trouble shooting complex Issues coming from Interfaces.
• Should have working knowledge to debug complex production issues, Performance finetuning at application, database and Web layer (IBM WAS, Jboss)
• Provide L2/L3 support and incident resolution for T24 issues coming from development, change requests.
• Good Technical knowledge on Payments in FT, TPH, Sweep, Standing Instructions etc.
• Should have the exposure to Islamic Banking Modules in LD & AA – Islamic, given an opportunity should have ability to design products.

Functional & Domain Knowledge

• The candidate should have good product knowledge of Accounts, Loans Module (LD, Mortgages, AA, Syndication), Limits and collateral, MM, AA Deposits.
• Knowledge of Islamic Banking is required. Should have practical working experience in various Islamic structures, Profit distribution etc.
• Should have good knowledge in Payments area such as FT, Clearing, Channels, Cards, Central Bank Payment Systems, Swift, ATM / POS etc.
• Knowledge of General Ledger, Asset Types is required. Should have ability to work with Finance team of the Bank Independently.
• Banking Operations Knowledge: The Candidate should have worked in Bank and knows the real challenges of onsite requirements and customer expectation.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Strong experience in coordinating with satellite application teams (Treasury, Trade finance, Corporate, Retail teams, teller branches.)
• Should co-ordinate with Internal teams in IT such as database, WAS admins, Support teams, Infra structure teams etc.
• Vendor Management: Should have the knowledge to raise tickets with Temenos, get the Fixes and should manage the open tickets.

• Collaboration Tools: JIRA, Confluence

• Documentation: Writing functional specs, RCA documents, and SOPs, ETL Mapping, Architecture, Process flow diagrams.
• Communication: Strong stakeholder communication and status reporting skills, ability to translate technical issues to business team.
