Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Telecom Manager
to lead and manage enterprise telecommunication systems, including voice, video, and collaboration platforms.
The role is responsible for
designing, implementing, and optimizing telecom infrastructure
, ensuring high availability, performance, and seamless communication across all business units and event environments.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in
Cisco Unified Communications, VoIP, and telecom architecture
, along with leadership capabilities to manage complex operations and cross-functional teams.
1. Telecom Strategy & Architecture
- Design and oversee telecom architecture including:
- PBX systems
- VoIP networks
- Cisco Unified Communications platforms
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable telecom solutions
- Lead design, integration, and deployment of telecom systems
2. Telecom Operations Management
- Manage end-to-end telecom services across the organization
- Oversee:
- Phone systems
- Fax servers
- Voice recording and dialer systems
- Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance
3. Cisco Collaboration & Voice Systems
- Lead administration and optimization of:
• Cisco Unified Contact Center (UCC)
- Manage VoIP configurations, call routing, and system upgrades
4. Troubleshooting & Incident Management
- Lead root cause analysis for complex telecom issues
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents within SLA
- Manage escalation processes and coordinate with cross-functional teams
5. Network & System Maintenance
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans
- Monitor telecom system performance and reliability
- Ensure compliance with operational standards and ITIL processes
6. Disaster Recovery & Documentation
- Oversee telecom disaster recovery planning and testing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of telecom infrastructure
- Ensure operational readiness and business continuity
7. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business units to understand telecom needs
- Evaluate telecom hardware/software and recommend solutions
- Manage vendor relationships and service delivery
8. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
- Maintain Configuration Items (CI) and compliance standards
- Conduct periodic system audits and reviews
9. Implementation & Continuous Improvement
- Support deployment of network enhancements and new telecom solutions
- Optimize performance and scalability of telecom systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Experience
- Minimum 12 years in telecom/voice/network engineering
- Strong experience in:
- Telecom architecture design
- Cisco collaboration platforms
- Large-scale enterprise environments
Certifications
- **CCIE Collaboration (preferred or equivalent experience)**
• ITIL Certification (mandatory)
- Data Center certifications (preferred)
