Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage software product contracts from procurement through development and service control, including consultant coordination.
• Maintain software and systems asset inventories and track licenses.
• Recommend licenses aligned with business goals and negotiate software terms and warranties with suppliers.
• Support purchasing policy development, research and recommend products, and monitor license compliance.
• Administer license changes and closures and communicate licensing practices to organizational stakeholders.

Essential qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least one year of work experience; this may be waived for a degree above the minimum requirement.
• Working knowledge of current IT technologies, licensing, and data privacy regulations.
• Excellent customer service and strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a high-pressure environment.
• ITIL certification is desirable.
