Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technology operations, service delivery and incident management.
  • Drive vendor performance, accountability and commercial outcomes.
  • Own infrastructure including networks, devices, Microsoft 365 and cloud services.
  • Strengthen cyber security, compliance and operational resilience.
  • Support store growth by ensuring technology remains scalable and fit for purpose.
  • Partner with Operations and business leaders to improve the store technology experience.

Required Experience

  • Senior technology operations experience in a multi site retail or hospitality business
  • Has challenged incumbent vendors and changed the outcome: better service, better commercials, or both
  • Has managed a multi party support chain, where triage sits with one provider and resolution with others
  • Evidence of efficiencies and return delivered against a technology spend baseline
  • Hands on across network, end user compute and Microsoft 365 in a distributed store environment
  • Hands on security operations: access, patching, vulnerability management and incident response
  • Experience across a point of sale estate and store technology
  • Available for escalation outside store trading hours, and able to travel to stores
  • Tertiary qualification in a technology discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Desirable: Essential Eight or ISO 27001 exposure, Microsoft 365 security, PCI DSS, experience in a fast growing store network
