Technician, SPD-Certified- Sterile Processing, Mullica Hill

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of a Sterile Processing Technician Training Program, including 400 hours of hands-on experience in an SPD setting, is required.
- Certification/ Licensure:
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required within two years of hire.
- CIS – Certified Instrument Specialist preferred.
- CER – Certified Endoscope Reprocessor preferred
- Knowledge & Skills:
- SPD technicians should demonstrate competency in:
- Cleaning and disinfecting surgical instruments
- Assembling and packaging instrument trays
- Operating sterilization equipment (autoclaves, HLD systems)
- Adhering to regulatory standards, including AAMI, CDC, OSHA, DNV, and AORN
- Strong communication and organizational skills
