Role overview
The Technician works in the Service department and develops skills in hoist installation, repair, and preventative maintenance.
The role diagnoses and completes work on a range of industry hoists and machinery.
Reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain hoists.
- Diagnose repairs required on hoists and machinery using industry-leading technology.
- Estimate service and repair time and complete required work correctly the first time.
- Maintain current product and technical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Machine Technician experience is an asset; the employer is willing to teach the right candidate.
- Enjoys hands-on work and applying problem-solving skills.
- Has attention to detail, time-management and organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Demonstrates customer focus and ability to work collaboratively.
- Has critical-thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills and is comfortable using technology.
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation to and from work are required.
