Job summary
To perform routine operations and maintenance tasks at the tanker filling station, ensuring efficient water distribution and proper functioning of equipment.
Operates filling systems, performing minor repairs, and reporting issues to supervisors.
General Responsibilities
- Follow divisional policy, systems, processes, procedures and controls covering all functional areas in line with group delegation of authority policy to ensure fulfilment of all relevant procedural/legislative requirements while delivering quality and cost-effective service in a consistent manner.
- Comply with organization’s requirements in a timely manner.
Job Specific Responsibilities
- Operate tanker filling station systems, ensuring timely and accurate filling of water tankers as per schedule.
- Perform daily equipment checks and minor repairs to ensure the smooth functioning of pumps, valves, and other station components.
- Monitor water levels, flow rates, and pressure, adjusting controls as necessary to maintain efficient operations.
- Assist in routine maintenance activities such as cleaning filters, lubricating pumps, and tightening connections to avoid operational interruptions.
- Identify and report any malfunctions or operational issues to the senior team.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines during the operation of tanker filling equipment.
- Maintain records of daily operations, including water distribution volumes and any operational challenges encountered.
- Assist in loading water into tankers and ensuring proper documentation of the amount distributed.
- Collaborate with the inspection team to ensure all equipment is functioning as per specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the tanker filling station to prevent hazards and ensure a safe working environment.

- Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided at the workplace that supports the interest of HSE, security and welfare.
Essential Requirements
- Electric Systems, Technical Maintenance professional certification
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
