About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technician, Kitchen and Laundry, to join our team at Yas Plaza Hotels.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining all the Kitchen equipment as instructed by the Supervisor while adhering to the hotel's policies and procedures.

About You

  • Technical Degree or equivalent certificate, apprenticeship, or experience on the job
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the hotel industry
  • Technical know-how and basic knowledge about the operation and maintenance of kitchen and laundry equipment
  • Knows the safety operation of different types of kitchen equipment
  • Has basic knowledge of Freon handling, brazing, and handling of gas cylinders
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules (i.e. Lockout Tag out, JSA’s), safety awareness information, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively with colleagues and guests
