Summary

• We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Technician III, Machinist, to join our team.
• You will participate in a variety of projects and follow plans and instructions from your line manager.
• Must be knowledgeable in methods, equipment, and materials used in Machining and Fabrication Methods.
• In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Review drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
• Select appropriate machines and settings for a given task.
• Monitor production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
• Maintains inventory of completed products.
• Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
• Identify the need for and perform machine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
• Analyzing specification charts, samples, and drawings understanding of requirements
• Develop a plan of action to manufacture parts according to specifications.
• Measuring and marking raw materials needed to manufacture parts.
• Setting up equipment required to complete each step of the manufacturing plant.
• Operating equipment to carry out each step correctly.
• Monitoring the production process and intervening when problems arise.
• Inspecting finished parts for flaws and defects.
• Maintaining equipment is located throughout the machine shop.

Minimum Qualification and Experience

• Diploma degree.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the same field.
