Job role - Technician, General Assembly Maintenance

Job Purpose
This role is responsible for sustaining a smooth production process, by ensuring efficient operation and availability of machinery and equipment by maintaining and rectifying issues of the machines used in the manufacturing of EV components to ensure the longevity of equipment.
Job Role
- Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform predictive maintenance tasks by identifying and remediating potential issues before they result to breakdowns or production disruptions.
- Apply a broad range of mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics, welding, and troubleshooting the repairs of production machines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and perform necessary repairs or part replacements
- Conduct functional testing and adjustments to ensure optimal performance and compliance with operational standards.
- Operate a wide range of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform maintenance, repair, and operational tasks safely and efficiently
- Observe equipment and check for any potential problem items not listed on task sheets, while performing preventive maintenance tasks.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Adhere to maintenance protocols and schedules, ensuring equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and alignment with safety and quality standards
- Maintain records of maintenance activities. Such as repairs, replacements, and maintenance schedules.
Education -
Technical Diploma in a relevant field (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation).
Experience -
3 Years Minimum in a relevant field
