Role overview

Audiovisual event duties

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV, projection, lighting, and conferencing equipment.
• Oversee room setups, check equipment and arrangements against Banquet Event Orders, and report changes or equipment problems.
• Maintain, clean, and repair equipment as needed; tape down loose cables and secure equipment after use.
• Assist guests with equipment, promote AV services, and monitor operation during events.
• Follow Marriott Visual Productions procedures.

Service and workplace standards

• Follow company safety, security, quality, and other policies; report accidents and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company property, and provide courteous guest service.
• Communicate professionally, maintain positive working relationships, and support team goals.
• Inspect tools and equipment and perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications and physical requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience or license or certification is specified.
• Must be able to handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
