About This Role
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical Textile Sewing Technician (Tailor) with experience in sewing technical and industrial textiles, preferably industrial filter bags.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with industrial sewing machines, strong attention to quality, and the ability to work independently.
A valid automatic driving license is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Sew and assemble technical and industrial textiles, with a focus on industrial filter bags
- Operate industrial sewing machines (single needle, double needle, overlock, chain stitch, etc.)
- Read and interpret technical drawings, patterns, and work instructions
- Ensure finished products meet quality standards and specifications
- Inspect materials and finished products for defects
- Perform basic machine setup and routine maintenance
- Work with various technical fabrics (polyester, polypropylene, PTFE, fiberglass, nonwoven materials)
- Follow workplace safety and quality procedures
- Assist in improving production efficiency
- Transport materials or finished goods when required
& Skills
- Proven experience in technical or industrial textile sewing
- Experience with industrial filter bags is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machines
- Ability to work with heavy-duty and technical fabrics
- High attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Valid automatic driving license (mandatory)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in dust filtration or baghouse filters
- Knowledge of heat sealing or seam reinforcement techniques
- Manufacturing or production environment experience
