Chapter 2 is a global embedded talent and RPO consultancy with offices in the UK, South Africa, the US, Germany and India. We don’t sit on the sidelines. Our Talent Partners join client teams and work as part of them. They build hiring functions, shape how teams grow and help hire the people who make the product.

We’re looking for an experienced in-house tech recruiter to join a high-growth client as an embedded Talent Partner. You’ll own end-to-end hiring across product and engineering. You’ll work as an extension of the client’s team, with Chapter 2 behind you.

This suits someone who has done the job in a fast-moving scale-up, knows what good engineering and product hiring looks like, and can start making an impact from week one.

Own full-cycle hiring for engineering and product roles, from intake to offer

Partner with engineering and product leaders to shape role briefs, interview processes and hiring plans

Source and engage passive talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, networks and creative outreach

Advise hiring managers on market conditions, compensation and candidate expectations

Deliver a candidate experience that reflects well on the client and on Chapter 2

Keep data clean and reporting sharp so stakeholders can see what’s working

5+ years of in-house tech recruitment, specialising in engineering and product hiring

Experience in a high-growth, scale-up environment. Fintech, insurtech or another fast-paced technical sector is a strong plus

Confidence hiring across levels, from individual contributors to engineering and product leadership

A track record of building trust with technical stakeholders and pushing back when needed

Strong sourcing skills and a consultative approach to hiring managers

Availability to start immediately

Based in London and able to work on-site [X days per week]
