Work Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • 8–9 hours per day
  • 5–6 days per week
  • Rotational shifts or on-call support for critical issues

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for network, internet, and system-related issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems
  • Monitor network performance and identify service disruptions
  • Respond to customer and internal technical support requests
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level engineering teams when needed
  • Install, configure, and maintain network equipment and systems
  • Maintain accurate records of support tickets and resolutions
  • Assist in system updates, upgrades, and maintenance activities
  • Ensure timely resolution of incidents within service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Support field and operations teams with technical guidance

Skills for This Role

  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for IT systems and networks
  • Familiarity with routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Customer support and communication skills
  • Experience with helpdesk or ticketing systems (Zendesk, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Understanding of ISP or telecom environments is an advantage
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet SLAs
  • Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux)
  • Team collaboration and documentation skills

Requirements

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
  • Previous experience in technical support or IT helpdesk preferred
  • Basic networking knowledge (CCNA certification is an advantage)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Willingness to work in shifts or provide on-call support when required
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
