Role overview
Senior executive-level role serving as final Technical Authority for Electrical & Instrumentation activities across the EPC lifecycle.
Leads Project Managers and drives technical excellence, construction execution quality, governance, and on-time delivery across brownfield and greenfield Oil & Gas projects.
Technical leadership and governance
- Act as the ultimate technical authority for E&I systems and decisions.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables for constructability and commissioning efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with client standards and international E&I codes.
- Oversee procurement quality and provide final sign-off on engineered materials.
- Define strategies for critical system cutovers and live replacements.
Construction execution
- Drive construction delivery with attention to quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
- Set installation quality benchmarks and inspection regimes.
- Enable efficient workflows, including prefabrication and resource optimization.
- Lead commissioning strategies for on-time Ready for Start-Up handovers.
Performance improvement
- Champion lean execution and standardized work procedures.
- Use project metrics to improve productivity, reduce rework, and increase delivery speed.
- Capture and apply lessons learned to improve future project outcomes.
Candidate requirements
- 20–25 years of Electrical & Instrumentation experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Strong EPC project delivery track record; Middle East experience is preferred.
- Deep expertise in major electrical and instrumentation/control systems.
- Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on leadership focused on execution excellence and technical integrity.
Success measures
Right-first-time system acceptance and technical compliance.
Delivery against installation productivity and schedule targets.
Successful client handovers and high customer satisfaction.
