Technical Solutions Specialist

Role overview

Technical solution development

• Work across APS product service line, consulting, digital, projects, and operations teams to develop competitive technical solutions and delivery models.
• Support preparation of execution plans, operating models, maintenance strategies, transition and mobilization plans, staffing plans, and resource estimates.
• Gather inputs from project teams and subject matter experts; coordinate reviews for technical accuracy, operational feasibility, and deliverability.
• Identify capabilities, methodologies, digital solutions, project experience, and references for pursuits; maintain reusable technical source materials and models.
• Coordinate answers to technical questions from Growth Enablement or clients, drawing on subject matter experts.

Growth Enablement interface

• Act as the main APS Operations technical coordination contact for Growth Enablement and proposal teams.
• Coordinate technical inputs to meet bid requirements and timelines, providing agreed content and supporting information to the proposal schedule.
• Collaborate with Growth Enablement while maintaining clear functional responsibilities; Growth Enablement owns opportunity and proposal management, commercial development, document production, and submission.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Seven years of experience in coordination, business development, marketing, communications, proposal support, or a related environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams; clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities, stakeholders, and deadlines accurately and with attention to detail.
• Experience supporting operations and maintenance, engineering, construction, or professional-services pursuits is preferred.
• Adobe Creative Suite and presentation or document-production tools are beneficial; growth platforms, CRM systems, repositories, or knowledge-management tools are advantageous.
