Role Description

The Owner is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, responsible for end-to-end accountability of key products, services, or business domains within Allstate India.

This role involves defining and communicating the vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with organizational goals, while prioritizing initiatives that drive measurable business value.

On a day-to-day basis, the Owner collaborates with cross-functional teams in technology, operations, and analytics to refine requirements, remove blockers, and ensure high-quality delivery.

The role includes monitoring performance metrics, managing budgets and risks, and making data-informed decisions to improve outcomes and customer value.

The Owner will also mentor team members, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and uphold Allstate India’s standards for ethical conduct, inclusion, and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in product ownership, business ownership, or similar leadership roles with responsibility for strategy, delivery, and performance.
  • Strong skills in business strategy, roadmap planning, and stakeholder management across technology, operations, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to interpret data and analytics, define KPIs, and use insights to guide prioritization and decision-making.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, driving alignment, and resolving conflicts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of technology-enabled solutions; experience in insurance, financial services, or related domains is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive leadership, fostering diverse perspectives, and creating a respectful workplace.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Management, or a related field; a master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Comfort working on-site in the Pune Division and collaborating with global teams across time zones.
