Technical Sales Manager - Special Machinery and Automation System Integrator

EXPERIENCE

• REQUIRED:
• 5+ years of experience in special purpose machinery building, automation, or systems integration, including selling products and/or services into the Manufacturing Industry.
• Knowledge of the industry in the US, Canada, and ideally international markets.
• Strong customer relationships and access to industry knowledge and market trends.
• Ability to capture customer and market requirements and transfer knowledge fully to the internal network.
• Strong project delivery capability / management skills to lead and acquire new business opportunities.
• High degree of technical competence and the ability to break down complex topics.
• Ability to effectively develop, articulate and sell strategies and ideas to senior management, peers and customers.
• Language: Business-level proficiency in English
• Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or master's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering or similar
• A well-organized, self-directed and driven individual with strong work ethic.
• An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with an appropriate professional image who inspires others to listen and engage.
• A strategic, results-oriented personality with a strong business orientation who is able to react quickly and effectively to changing circumstances. Not accepting of the status quo, always looking for better ways to gain market share and to improve customer satisfaction.
• A visible person with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels and cultures.
• Knowledge of ancillary industry sectors such as Battery -, eDrive -, Sensors & Electronics -, H2 Solutions is a plus.
• Fluency in other languages (e.g., German, Spanish).
