Role
Full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in Sharjah.
Supports industrial and engineering customers with product recommendations, technical solutions, and sales service.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer technical needs, recommend products, and prepare quotations and proposals.
- Demonstrate products, provide basic technical support, and coordinate order processing and delivery with internal teams.
- Follow up after sales, maintain and expand customer accounts, and achieve sales targets.
- Update CRM or sales records and track product developments and industry trends.
- Visit client sites, attend vendor or product training, and contribute to improvements in sales processes and technical offerings.
Qualifications
- Strong technical sales and sales capability, including identifying customer needs, developing solutions, and closing opportunities.
- Sales engineering and technical support experience, including product specification knowledge and application-focused guidance.
- Excellent communication for customer engagement, presentations, and internal collaboration.
- Mechanical, industrial, or related engineering background; a diploma or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Engineering tools, industrial products, or hardware distribution experience is advantageous.
- Read and interpret technical documents and drawings; bring problem-solving and customer service orientation.
- Work on-site in Sharjah and visit customer premises and industrial locations as needed.
- Basic MS Office proficiency and familiarity with CRM or sales reporting tools; a UAE driving license is a plus.
