Technical Sales Engineer (Electrical)

Position overview

Key responsibilities

• Review RFQs, specifications, drawings, and tender documents to develop compliant proposals.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, pricing sheets, and commercial summaries.
• Develop solutions and prepare compliance statements, deviations, SLDs, control schematics, and system architecture drawings.
• Select electrical and control-system equipment and coordinate with OEMs and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, BS, IEEE, NEC, and applicable local authority regulations.
• Prepare proposals, technical submittals, material datasheets, method statements, BOMs, and engineering calculations.
• Support sales through customer meetings, technical presentations, and tender clarifications.
• Support handover, engineering, procurement, execution, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and after-sales activities.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams; assist with planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and process improvement.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, control systems, HVAC, industrial controls, low-voltage power distribution, system integration, and MEP systems.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to convert technical solutions into commercial opportunities.
• Airport equipment, MRO hangar, or other infrastructure experience is preferred; UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of authority approvals such as DEWA and Civil Defense is preferred; professional engineering body membership is an advantage.
• A UAE driving license is listed in the preferred profile.
