Technical Sales Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries and provide technical and commercial support; recommend products and solutions for customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and achieve sales targets.
• Prepare quotations, sales reports, forecasts, account reports, and monthly and quarterly updates for management.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Printing, and Finance to meet customer requirements.
• Follow up on orders, samples, approvals, production, loading, and shipment to ensure timely delivery to specification.
• Handle customer complaints, technical issues, and escalations; coordinate timely resolution.
• Support product trials, testing, samples, and customer approvals when required.
• Communicate customer specifications to internal teams; monitor sales performance, customer needs, and business opportunities.
• Assist with commercial negotiations and agreements; follow company SOPs and QMS procedures.
• Visit customers for technical discussions, business development, troubleshooting, and follow-up when required.

Qualifications and skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a technical field, Sales, Business, or a related field.
• Technical sales or B2B sales experience is preferred.
• Good technical and product knowledge, communication, negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and sales reporting.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 2,500 to AED 5,000 per month.
