Technical Sales Engineer

· Provide technical expertise to support consultative selling discussions and solution positioning.

· Partner with sales teams to support opportunity discovery, qualification, and technical validation.

· Engage directly with customers to understand technical requirements, system constraints, and application needs.

· Support development of technical proposals, solution architectures, bills of material, and scope definitions.

· Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution walkthroughs.

· Collaborate with engineering, product management, and services teams to validate technical feasibility and accuracy.

· Document technical requirements, assumptions, and inputs within CRM and sales documentation systems.

· Contribute customer, market, and technical insights to improve solutions and sales effectiveness.

Standard business hours. Travel up to approximately 25–30% may be required.

· Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-appropriate explanations.

· Ability to support consultative, multi-stakeholder sales engagements with technical credibility.

· Demonstrated collaboration across sales, customers, and internal technical partners.

· Ability to develop and review technical solution components, including proposals and scope definitions.

· Ability to document and manage technical inputs using CRM and sales documentation tools.

Legal authorization to work in the country of employment – sponsorship will not be provided.

· Four (4) or more years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, systems engineering, or customer-facing technical roles.

· Experience supporting consultative or value-based selling models.

· Technical or product-specific experience relevant to customer environments.

· Industry or application experience related to HVACR, controls, or adjacent technologies.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for creating technical and customer-facing materials.
