Technical Safety Engineer
About This Role
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Technical Safety within the Oil & Gas industry
- Strong working knowledge of HAZID / HAZOP methodologies
- Experience in projects or shipyard environments is an advantage
- Familiarity with international safety standards and risk assessment techniques
- Good communication and reporting skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and lead Technical Safety studies including HAZID and HAZOP
- Identify process hazards and recommend risk mitigation measures
- Support design reviews to ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices
- Participate in project risk assessments and safety reviews
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to implement safety requirements
- Ensure compliance with applicable Oil & Gas regulations and company HSE policies
