We are seeking an experienced Technical Quality Advisor to support and enhance our quality assurance and control processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and experience within the oilfield or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and API standards
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, client requirements, and internal specifications
- Lead audits and manage corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate with engineering on design quality, reviews, and risk assessments
- Define and oversee inspection, testing, and acceptance criteria
- Manage supplier qualification, audits, and performance
- Review test results, address non-conformities, and drive improvements
- Maintain quality documentation, records, and KPIs
- Lead root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote quality awareness and support internal training efforts
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in oilfield tools, downhole tools, drilling equipment, or similar products
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, API Q1/Q2, and relevant API standards
- Experience with mechanical inspection tools, measurement systems, and NDT techniques
- Proven ability to implement and maintain quality processes and procedures
