Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager in Doha to lead delivery of software and infrastructure projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects (software, integrations, infrastructure) using Agile and hybrid methodologies.
Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria; create and maintain project plans.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, UX, product, ops) and external vendors/partners.
Manage project risks, issues, dependencies; perform impact analysis and drive remediation.
Track project budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder expectations.
Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and project steering meetings.
Ensure clear technical requirements, acceptance criteria, and traceability between requirements and deliverables.
Drive process improvements, CI/CD adoption, and deployment planning; support release management.
Communicate project status, KPIs, and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Mentor junior PMs and contribute to PM best practices and templates.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience delivering technical projects in software or IT environments, with at least 2 years in a PM or TPM role.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), and DevOps practices.
- Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Asana) and roadmap tools.
- Technical background sufficient to communicate with engineers (CS degree or equivalent technical experience preferred).
- Proven track record managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification preferred.
- English fluency required; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Eligible to work in Qatar or willing to relocate.
Nice-To-Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
- Background in fintech, telecom, or enterprise SaaS.
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and data residency requirements in the Gulf region.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: QAR40.20 - QAR55.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
