The Role
We are seeking an exceptional technical project engineer to own and manage effective delivery of our complex and customised engineering solutions to customers in a timely manner.
You will be our technical interface with the customer, evaluating their requirements and collaborating with our cross-functional teams to deliver customised solutions as agreed with the customer.
The ideal applicant will have a project management, engineering or similar relevant degree and have at least 2 years’ experience working as a technical project engineer.
Experience from the maritime or offshore industry is highly preferred.
This position will be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the technical project management of critical and complex projects with global customers
- Be the technical interface with the customer, addressing any relevant queries and ensuring the project and product teams are kept abreast on the latest requirements.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, budgets, while maintaining a sharp focus on risk assessment and mitigation.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential obstacles, and implement corrective actions to ensure project stays on track.
- Provide regular status updates and comprehensive reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Implement effective project management methodologies and tools to optimize project outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering or related fields preferred
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical project management
- Project Management within an Offshore/Onshore O&G setting is highly desirable
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and a strong communicator
- Proficiency in project management tools
