Technical Procurement & Engineering Lead
- is responsible for managing and leading technical procurement activities while serving as the key technical interface between plant operations, engineering teams, procurement, and international suppliers.
- This role requires a balanced combination of:
- Advanced engineering and technical analysis capabilities
- Deep understanding of industrial processes and equipment
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Leadership in procurement coordination and supplier management
- The successful candidate will independently evaluate technical documentation, lead supplier interactions, support CAPEX decisions, and drive procurement strategies aligned with operational requirements.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Chemical or Process Engineering
- Industrial Engineering (with strong technical background)
- *A Master’s degree is an advantage.*
Professional Experience
- **10-15 years of relevant agricultural industrial experience**
- Proven experience in
- technical procurement and industrial plant engineering
- Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly preferred:
- Vegetable oil extraction and refining
- Feed production
- Sugar and beet processing
- Grain handling and storage
- Food or industrial manufacturing
