The position focuses on designing, developing, deploying, and improving automation rather than maintaining existing systems.
Typical work
- Map workflows with business teams and identify pain points, repetitive work, and operational bottlenecks.
- Build scripts, integrations, workflows, custom tools, server-side logic, and data pipelines to reduce manual effort.
- Prepare and analyze data; validate data integrity and produce actionable insights.
- Document solutions, collaborate with engineers and functional teams, and test, deploy, and support solutions with logging and version control.
What Vimly is looking for
- Experience as a business process analyst or programmer analyst working with business stakeholders; services, finance, sales operations, or business operations experience is ideal.
- Experience with REST API and database integrations, data warehousing, and data modeling.
- Strong programming skills such as Python and SQL for automation and data preparation.
- Track record of improving workflows through code; AI may be used where valuable.
- Comfort with ambiguity, strong cross-functional communication, initiative, and willingness to learn.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Compensation
- Base salary is $115,000–$135,000 per year.
