Technical Office Engineer – Lighting

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lighting designs and calculations using DIALux evo.
• Prepare and review AutoCAD drawings and lighting layouts.
• Estimate projects and perform quantity take-offs using drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Review project technical specifications and requirements.
• Prepare technical proposals, submittals, and product selections.
• Coordinate with Sales, Projects, and Technical teams; support projects with technical documentation and calculations.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience; lighting-industry experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in DIALux evo and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of estimation, BOQ preparation, and quantity take-offs.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills and good command of English.
