Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Manager based in Abu Dhabi. The Technical Manager will oversee daily technical operations, manage teams to ensure project delivery, provide technical support, and lead research and development initiatives. Additional responsibilities include optimizing project workflows, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and ITPs for landscape and hardscape works
• Coordinate with consultants, client representatives ( DMT ), and internal teams to obtain approvals
• Track, follow up, and close all technical submittals within project timelines
• Maintain logs for submittals, RFIs, drawings, and approvals
• Provide technical support to site teams during execution of softscape, hardscape, and irrigation works
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents
• Ensure all works are executed in compliance with approved drawings and DMT standards
• Resolve technical issues related to materials, site conditions, and construction methods
• Assist in preparation and closure of RFIs, NCRs, and technical queries
• Attend project meetings and provide technical input and recommendations
• Coordinate with suppliers for material approvals and technical compliance
• Monitor site progress and ensure quality control requirements are met
• Support implementation of irrigation systems as per approved design
• Ensure proper document control and timely distribution of project documents

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in landscape/hardscape projects in the UAE
• Experience in Abu Dhabi projects (DMT) is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of landscape materials (interlock, kerbstone, paving, irrigation, planting)
• Good understanding of UAE construction standards and DMT specifications
• Experience in handling technical documentation and approval processes
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is an advantage
• UAE driving license is preferred
