Growth Team and Method
The Growth team helps small and mid-sized businesses sign up, find value, and subscribe through onboarding, experimentation, and customer-journey improvements.
Method builds a customizable CRM for small and mid-sized businesses that connects with QuickBooks and Xero.
Build and Experiment
- Build, experiment on, and maintain onboarding and adoption experiences for new users.
- Ship partial solutions to learn quickly, then improve, automate, or discard them based on evidence.
- Use mockups, proofs of concept, rapid development, and AI-assisted tools to accelerate work.
- Advocate for intuitive, user-friendly products.
Data, Measurement, and Leadership
- Build event-logging client libraries and frameworks, data pipelines, and product-metric monitoring.
- Integrate experimentation infrastructure for measurement and personalization, and design shared datasets with other teams.
- Scope and oversee technical projects; lead and mentor engineers through design and code reviews.
- Set standards for effective, safe AI coding-tool use; make build-versus-buy decisions and help hire and grow the team.
Technology Stack and Tools
- Stack: C#, .NET, SQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, React, and AWS, including SQS.
- Analytics and engagement tools include Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Segment, Amplitude, Intercom, Appcues, and Datadog.
- Required experience includes full-stack development, data engineering, analytics, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, and daily use of AI-assisted development tools.
What You Bring
- 5–7+ years of software development experience, ideally on production applications, and 1–3 years of technical leadership experience.
- Full-stack experience with C#/.NET, SQL, and React, or comparable technologies.
- A strong background in data engineering, analytics, and A/B testing, including experiment design, instrumentation, and product decisions based on results.
- Expertise in rapid prototyping, mockups, and proofs of concept; daily hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools.
- A strong user-experience and usability focus; ability to communicate trade-offs, create clarity, and mentor developers.
- Experience with analytics and engagement tools, or rolling out AI development tools across a team, is a plus.
- Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent training or experience is a plus.
Work Model
- Flexible hybrid work model; employees work from the downtown Toronto office 2–3 days per week.

- First 30 days: learn the architecture, customer workflows, team, and risks.

- By 90 days: ship a measurable improvement, set technical direction, mentor the team, and introduce an improvement to AI-tool practices.
Employment and Compensation
- Full-time, permanent role.
- Compensation range is CA$120,000–CA$144,000 per year.
